We’ve created a natural and organic line of skin care products harvested from our vineyards at Cal-a-Vie Health Spa. Numerous studies have shown that grape skins, seeds, and pulp contain skin and health-enhancing components such as vitamin C and E. These components help to strengthen collagen and increase elasticity and firmness. Our Vinothérapie products also include essential oil blends of Neroli, Chamomile, Lavender, Tangerine and Amyris which promote smooth, healthy, youthful skin and are gentle for all skin types.

Cal-a-Vie Vinothérapie Grape Skin Wrap

Experience an antioxidant, anti-aging body wrap using grape products from the Cal-a-Vie vineyard. Our gentle salt scrub prepares skin to be smoothed with warm, oceanic clay enriched with Cabernet grape extract, which is  rich in resveratrol, the potent antioxidant in grape skins. The clay has a detoxifying and refining effect. Lastly, Crème de Vin is applied to lavishly hydrate your skin.

Cal-a-Vie Vinothérapie Vichy Scrub

This moisturizing and detoxifying body scrub is made with mineral-rich sea salts, antioxidant-rich organic grape seed skin and pulp infusion harvested from the Cal-a-Vie vineyards. Following the luxurious scrub, you will receive an application of our signature Vinothérapie deep penetrating crème.

*Bamboo Massage

Bamboo is revered in Asian countries for its healing properties. Our massage employs smooth, heated, oiled pieces of bamboo to provide deep, rhythmic massage strokes. The overall effect is a sense of deep relaxation created by lengthening and compressing the muscles.  (This treatment is best done on an individual with ample muscle tissue; and someone who also desires a firm massage.)

Cal-a-Vie Shiatsu Massage 

This massage technique is based on the principles of Chinese medicine. Gua Sha Massage

An alternative massage therapy, Gua Sha is an ancient Chinese healing technique that stimulates micro-circulation and increases blood flow. Gua Sha directly translates to scraping and involves lightly scraping the skin, helping to reduce inflammation, break up “knots” in the connective tissue, improve range of motion, and promote healing. (Please note that Gua Sha may cause a histamine reaction that sometimes result in temporary redness or discoloration of the skin.)

Herbal Poultice Massage 

Inspired by the ancient healing practices of Thailand, this treatment uses natural herbs, exotic spices, and delicate flowers, all wrapped in fine muslin and steeped to provide a moist herbal compression massage.

Hot Stone Massage 

Using heat-absorbing basalt stones, this massage combines elements of the earth with a grounding human touch. This treatment deeply soothes muscles and increases circulation with the release of heat.

Kinesiology Taping & Massage

Compliment your fitness program with customized massage and kinesiology taping (KT), recognized for delaying muscle fatigue, normalizing muscle tone, and distributing physical stress. Unlike restrictive taping, KT taping allows for full movement, is comfortable, and maintains tension for 2 to 7 days. Dormant muscles are brought back to life, allowing overactive muscles to rest while helping movement coordination. Address areas of focus with your therapist.

Myofascial Massage

Improve mobility and overall physical wellness through myofascial release techniques that stretch the fascia or connective tissues that surround the muscles. Prenatal Kinesiology Taping & Massage 

Acting as a “second skin”, kinesiology taping safely manages the discomfort and aches of pregnancy. In the hands of Cal-a-Vie’s skilled massage therapists you can relax and enjoy a circulatory enhancing massage; geared toward improving sleep. The Therabody Smart Goggle device will be used during your treatment (with the option to take a new device home with you). This uniquely versatile cellulite reduction Vichy body scrub consists of a rain bar that extends over head with several shower heads cascading warm water over the body to balance and relax. Paired with a honeycomb bath mitt designed with dual textures for sloughing away dry skin, this scrub stimulates blood flow to enhance circulation, promote cellular regeneration and lymphatic drainage to eliminate toxins that produce cellulite. This full body resurfacing treatment uses natural, sugar-cane based glycolic exfoliators to remove dry, dead skin to soften and brighten from shoulders to the toes. *Water Craniosacral 

Craniosacral Therapy in water is a gentle aquatic therapy technique that enhances the function of the craniosacral system. Craniosacral therapy deals with the bones of the head, spinal column, sacrum, and the underlying structure. This type of therapy employs a very light touch and uses specifically designed techniques to release restrictions and compression, while detecting and helping to correct motor sensitive and neurological dysfunctions that may be creating an unbalanced craniosacral system. Applying craniosacral therapy in water multiplies its therapeutic effects in where specific pressure awakens corrective movement in the body.(Swimwear required.)

*Water Reflexology 

After entering the warm pool, you will be guided through deep breathing rhythm while floating, leading you to a state of relaxation and freedom. Reflexology is an alternative medicine involving the application of pressure to the feet with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques.
